Very Important Mocking Announcement

I thought I'd take a break from writing about ninjas, how boys are dumb except for Hugh Laurie, & my future princessdom of Canada. I just had to mock this. It's the new Home Depot commercial that features a couple talking to the Home Depot salesperson about installing hardwood floors in their house. He asks if they want glue.

The girl replies "No, no glue we have a labradoodle with sensitive skin in the house, it wouldn't be good". First off, I haven't heard of dogs being allergic to wood floors. Secondly, I can't imagine how of all the takes they must've made of that commercial someone thought "Ya know what, labradoodle, it's the best we can do. That's a wrap." Labradoodle. That is all.

As of right now, I am VERY curious about this commercial. Sounds like someone's pet wanted a little TV action (even if it was only a mention of his/her breed).

I know someone who has 2 labradoodles. They're actually very nice dogs but I wish they weren't named that!

That commercial is horrifying/fascinating in so many ways. My FAVORITE part is that the Home Depot guy keeps an absolutely straight face as the couple explains about their labradoodle who doesn't do glue...I wonder how many takes that took?

This is what happens when you constantly channel flip during commercials...I miss out on the labradoodles. Somehow "OY with the labradoodles already!" just doesn't have the same ring to it! :)

Seriously, I need a job writing for TV commercials. I'm pretty sure they all start with listing the "cast" of dopey, balding husband and hot, pretty wife. And you wonder why all men feel entitled to have hot, pretty wives.

Although, whoever gets to marry ME will actually HAVE a hot pretty wife. But that's beside the point.
