the reigning Miss America always wear a terrible dress at the Miss America pageant? It's like 'I've had a year to discover myself & represent my country & learn to dress like a mermaid'.
I have to give kudos here though. It's so Sarakastic. It's basically telling the world, "If I can't be Miss America anymore at least I can ruin the new Miss America's first picture by wearing a dress that clashes with every single color". Nicely done. Nicely done.

I started to watch it but tuned in during an exceptionally nails-on-chalkboard violin solo. Why can't they just accept that we all care much more that she's pretty and we'll take anyone's word for it that she has some hidden talent that will never really be used?!

I missed it, but this post so made me want to see it. Just for the dress, mind you.
There was just so much wrong with that pageant. But if it's to be judged by entertainment value, I have to say, I giggled A LOT while watching.
