Stuff I gotta do this life

I've never sat down & officially made a list of what I want to accomplish in my life. Although, I've had a few of these in mind for awhile, which is why they are crossed off. Most people want to travel or cure world hunger, but most of my goals include food I've always wanted to eat & trying to avoid major conflicts. I was hoping I would come up with over 100 things, but there is just not that much food out there.

1. Visit Spain

2. Eat coffeecake

3. Learn to type with a strikethrough

4. Don't create any international incidents

5. Watch the last episode of M*A*S*H

6. Have an argument so heated that it necessitates me breaking a plate

7. Give my parents the landslide of presents they deserve for seeing a Sarakastic through to adulthood

8. Further the catch phrase "Oi with the poodles already" to the point that people who don't watch "Gilmore Girls" start saying it

9. Finish reading Rory's book list

10. Donate my extra books to the local libraries because it is not acceptable to not have one copy of "Death of a Salesman" in the entire county. Oh, I could have my wing, or at least my own shelf. Also, figure out how to reword that sentence without that double negative

11. Convince someone to read "Death of a Salesman", if I can ever get my hands on it

12. Own a globe that is secretly a bar even though I don't drink, that's just plain cool

13. Think of a number 13

14. Eat Risotto

15. Find a non sucky non season 6 Luke

16. Buy my own house & declare it the official home of Saradelphia

17. Have that moment that is always in movies of twirling in the rain

18. Break my habit of saying Anyways, apparently it isn't a word. It's not like it makes me a brilliant conversationalist. "Well, I didn't agree & then she said 'anyways' & I totally saw the light.

19. Somehow, someway, earn the nickname Ace

20. Eat every flavor of Oreo accomplished 4-20-07

Well, they are all lofty goals. I was going to put achieve Nirvana, but I think it would be hard to finish the list, that has to be the last thing, or I'll never cook Risotto. What's on your list?

i've read death of a salesman. it's...not bad. i mean, you know, arthur miller, thrill a minute. the best thing about it is having a character actually named 'happy'...as in, 'hey, hap, how you doin?'

All very admirable goals, indeed. :) I actually had 2 t-shirts made w/Lorelai catch-phrases. One was "Oi w/the poodles already!" and the other was "Copperboom!"...I get asked about them all the time! I made them on some website called Zinky.com or Zwinky.com--okay, wait.

I just checked and it's Zazzle.com--ah well. I was close! :)

Seriously, you need to write books or movies or sitcoms. I love that you always make me laugh out loud. Not the inward bland "ha" that simply acknowledges something is humorous. I mean the kind that makes anyone nearby want to know what I'm reading. To which I casually reply, "I could show you...but then I would have to kill you..."

For #6, get married. It will come.

For #17, I say just do it. I know what you mean, though. The whole moment would be nice.

See you later, Ace.

I love it! Especially the argument that necessitates plate-breaking. (I was about to type brate-pleaking)

Hmm... my life goals. That is something I will have to think about for a while.

I think it would be awesome to be called 'Ace'--good one!

Glad you were able to get to the coffee cake one. Delicious, isn't it? If it wasn't, put it back on your list to get some 'tasty coffeecake'!

I want to have one of those wandering vacations...no plans, no stress...you just figure things out as you go along because everything's good.

1. Invade Saradelphia

2. Get 'anyways' added to Webster's Dictionary

3. Avoid ever watching M*A*S*H, whether or not the last episode

4. Learn how to make gluten-free cake, pie, and brownies

Oh, and I know a way for you to earn the nickname 'Ace'. Either get a hole-in-one golfing, or a hole-in-one on every hole of a miniature course... in a row. Or you could tape an ace of spades to your forehead...

Great list- esp Saradelphia!

Here from....hmmmm... I think it had something indirectly to do with Frog and Toad....

If you finish reading Rory's book list I will call you Ace! Anyways, who needs a 13? Unless it's a delicious combo meal!

You should definately carry around a plate at all times. The next time someone offends you, just hurl it at their shoe and give them an indignant look.

I just popped over from Virginia's blog... that's a good list! I'm not sure that you'll ever be able to cross off number 4, except possibly just before your death... because that's the only way you could be sure that you didn't create an international incident... unless of course your death itself causes the incident... way too confusing for poor little me, but still a good list! And risotto is yummo.
