I have triumphed

This was supposed to be on the list of stuff I gotta do this life, because I've been talking about it for awhile. I had a goal to eat every flavor of Oreo manufactured. It seems simple enough, but I don't eat junk food a lot, when I do, I like to go with something that I know is going to be good. So this has been in the works for several years now. It would be much easier if there were different flavors in the same package, or if there were smaller packages of different flavors. (One of the vice presidents really should work on that). I just can't commit to buying a lot of something that might be groody, especially if it's going to put fitting into my orange pants in peril. (Groody is a word, don't give me that spell check, if anyone knows how to spell that properly please let me know as it is really holding my writing back).

Of course I had the regular oreos which is what inspired the original goal. When oreos came out with different flavors I was repelled by the idea. There are other flavors of different cookies, you can buy several generic brands of chocolate cookies at the store, but there is only one oreo, no one tries to copy it, it just can't be done. Was this a change I wanted to encourage? Was the world turning upside down, or was this merely a product of evolution that I didn't recognize because I was always playing tic tac toe with the Punnet Squares in biology class?

I finally decided to shake things up, I'm crazy like that. I endured the nausea of eating just one double stuff oreo. I was confused by the 100 calorie snack pack. I was ridiculed for bringing home the mint flavor. I've had the reverse oreo of vanilla cookies with chocolate filling which couldn't stand up to keebler. I ate the chocolate creme & thought that's way too much chocolate even for me. I just finished the peanut butter oreo, which tasted like coffee which is fine, but if it tastes like coffee, call it coffee. Now please excuse me while I go write this on the list where it belongs & then cross it off.

Peanut butter Oreos sound kind of icky, even if they do taste like coffee. I like the white chocolate covered Oreos best. Probably because they have about a million calories and a thousand fat grams per cookie.

Careful, you might accidentally do everything you've ever wanted to do and achieve nirvana. I've heard that you become one with the blogosphere when that happens...

What about the recent Strawberry Milkshake Oreo? My husband thinks it's fantastic. Not much of a fan of fake strawberry flavor myself, I didn't care for it. But a challenge is a challenge...

Are you going to account for color too? I mean sure its the same vanilla creme but it's really not the same when it's green or yellow or blue...I'm not sure what colors they make em I stay away from oreos. The cream makes me sick. I felt for you when you wrote about the double stuff.
